I moved to Indianapolis in 1992 and I loved the city’s ‘atmosphere’ and culture from the very first moment I arrived.  I grew up in small, midwestern towns and so one thing I’ve always appreciated about the city is that there are events for everyone!  It is the month of May so things are really hopping this weekend.  If you are looking for something to do, here are a few ideas.

Mini Marathon – Our annual mini marathon to kick off the beginning of the 500 festivities is tomorrow. This mini marathon is one of the nation’s largest half marathons in the world and named by “Runner’s World” magazine as one of America’s most iconic races. Tune in, go cheer someone on or host your own party!

There are several other sports events here this weekend.  Baseball season means Victory Field is host to the Louisville Bats vs. our own Indians and Lucas Oil Stadium hosts North Carolina at Indy Eleven.  For a recap or to purchase tickets click here.

There is always a lot of theatre in this town!  Here are a few plays which look intriguing… “You Can’t Take it With You” is at the Indiana Repertory Theatre and Carmel Community Players presents “A Street Car Named Desire” at The CAT this weekend.

Theatre at the Fort presents “Luminous”.

Indy Fringe theater is hosting an extended run of “The Golden Girls: The Lost Episodes” and on Sunday, “Ray Bradbury Live (forever).

Speaking of things to do…if you or loved ones are thinking about relocating, buying or selling…or they just aren’t sure what housing decision they should make, join us for “Relocating Options” on May 17th from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.  For more information Click Here.  I promise you won’t be disappointed!
